Last night’s “debate” was, as @DanabaschCNN so delicately called it a “shit show”. Anxiety was through the roof for so many. I scrolled twitter and IG, and everyone was consuming copious amounts of wine (no judgement here!)
In addition to coping with wine, I wanted to provide 3 easy to do anxiety busting acupressure points you can do almost anywhere including meetings, job interviews or sitting in traffic.
❤️Pericardium 6 – This point helps soothe anxiety and helps with nausea.
How to Find It – With your palm face up, bend your wrist slightly so you can see the crease. Place 3 fingers width wise across your wrist. Right below the bottom finger, in the hollow area between the 2 tendons. Apply a decent amount of pressure with your pointer finger (it doesn’t need to hurt) and start by taking 3 deep breaths. Do both sides. You can increase the number of breaths.

❤️Pericardium 8 – This point is called the “Palace of Anxiety” Say no more.
How to Find It – Located in the fleshy center of the palm, or where the tip of your middle finger touches when making a fist. Use your thumb or forefinger to apply a good amount of pressure and take 3 deep breaths. Do both sides. You can increase the number of breaths.
❤️Heart 7 – This point is called “Spirit Gate”
How to Find It – On the underside of your wrist, towards the pinky finger side, there will be a hollow between the hand and the wrist. Use your forefinger to apply a decent amount of pressure and take 3 deep breaths. Do both sides. You can increase the number of breaths.
